Today’s Update

03/30/2026 – It seems to me I need to get the word out about this website.

I originally bought Neverwinter Nights when Bioware released it all those years ago and have continued with NWN2.  It saddens me they have not made a NWN3 since I spend more time on this game than any other.  However that is not the general reason for today’s post.  Yes I am aware of “NWN EE” but not impressed with it.  Maybe I should look at it again.

Building Afterlife “the Dreadlands” is a real joy for me.  I have completed the City of Syra and am working on Crossroads Springs right now.  I am listening to John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band in the background.  If you don’t recognize the band, they are the ones who did all the music for “Eddie and the Cruisers” movies.  I miss that type of music.

Anyway this site is not about music.

I am building new “HAK PAKS” for this world.  It has been a process remembering how to create all the .2da files and making sure I mak the specific haks with th items, placeables and appearence stuff in them.  I absolutely hate the current “pre-made” 3C haks.  Someone got a little crazy making them.

I have completed The Council of Tribunals where all new players will enter.  They will be given a choice of places they can go to begin exploring the world.  the City of Syra and the Crossroads Springs are two of the three jump-off places.  Each offers different encounters in  which you will face and grow your characters.  Among the things on my bucket list include creating completelt new “Gods” for this world.  I also need to create the “Evil City” which I have not named as yet.  That will begin in the next few days as will my
Teleport System” to move around the world.  I still have not decided how that will work.  It may simply be a ‘Portal System” between certain places and players will been to use footpower to get to the lands around the cities as well as between them.

Okay that’s todays round-up.  I will be back with more as I set it up.
